Work experience
VerticPortals: Motion Designer
From August 2009 to September 2010 I functioned as the Motion Designer at VerticPortals’ New
York City office. I was responsible for the animations delivered to clients as final products as well
as any pre-visual animations to guide clients when pitching work. I was the sole motion designer
and worked independently for a majority of projects. I also served to produce the animated content
for internet projects, this involved working with the developers to achieve the best possible outcome
while adhering to technological, and internet limits and standards
Perfect Fools: Designer
From November 2007 to April 2009 I had worked as a designer at Perfect Fools in New York City. Given the small team atmosphere I was involved heavily in the conceptualization of every idea and a part of the creative process from beginning to end. I worked through the challenges of a small team environment: fulfilling multiple roles, meeting tight deadlines and going the extra mile to make things to provide a polished final product. From working within a Swedish design and business culture I had also attained a thorough, and alternative, understanding of the industry and design.
Avenue A | Razorfish: Interactive Designer
I had worked from September 2005 to March 2006 in order to fulfill credit for my Drexel Co-Op Experience. While there I had functioned on multiple projects at once while also working with numerous project managers and creative teams. I efficiently made deadlines early enough in the event future client requests were presented before flighting. I had additionally gained valuable knowledge on the workings of a corporate level advertising company with major clients.
